Currently, H.E. Sayed Ahmad Umerkhil serves as the Acting Ambassador of Afghanistan in Dubai, overseeing diplomatic and consular affairs within his jurisdiction. In this role, he works closely with Afghan community members, UAE authorities, and relevant institutions to ensure effective consular services, strengthen bilateral engagement, and uphold the dignity and representation of Afghanistan in the UAE.
